This Privacy Policy explains how AuPear, operated by Tampa Trading Tribe LLC, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the AuPear application and website (the “Service”). We aim to collect only what we need to make AuPear useful to you.

1. Information we collect

Account information: your email address and the name you choose.
Preferences you provide: your stores, cuisines, favorite dishes, foods to skip, brands, and similar settings.
Activity in the app: shopping lists, saved lists, recipes, and meal plans you create.
Optional connections: if you choose to connect email receipt access or a similar integration, we access only what is needed to identify and read your grocery receipts, in order to build your purchase history and savings. You can disconnect at any time.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to operate and personalize the Service — building lists, generating recipes and meal plans, comparing prices, predicting what you may need, and calculating savings. We also use it to secure your account, provide support, and improve the Service.

3. AI processing

Some features use third-party AI providers (for example, to turn a description of your family’s tastes into preferences, or to generate recipes). Relevant inputs are sent to these providers to produce the result. We do not sell your personal information.

4. How we share information

We share information only with service providers who help us run AuPear (such as hosting, database, email delivery, and AI providers), and only as needed to provide the Service. Affiliate links you follow to retailers are governed by those retailers’ and networks’ own privacy policies. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention and security

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and we take reasonable measures to protect it, including encryption of sensitive data. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.

6. Your choices

You can view and edit your preferences at any time, disconnect optional integrations, and request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your data.

7. Children

AuPear is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time and will take reasonable steps to notify you of material changes.
